Customer Experience Manager – Government Clients
As Customer Experience Manager for government clients, I introduced lean research and CX practices that enabled faster, evidence-based decisions aligned with user needs. I established a communication strategy and advocated for integrating a content strategist to bridge internal communication gaps. As part of REI’s Customer Experience leadership team, I helped write the company’s first CX Playbook and facilitated strategic sessions to advance the CX maturity model.

I developed a Lean UX design process tailored to Agile proposal workflows and led creative campaigns and workshops, using journey mapping to surface pain points and champion user-centered priorities. I translated customer insights into clear, actionable strategies and visualizations, acting as a liaison between creative, content, development, and project teams to ensure alignment with both user needs and business goals.

As Lead Designer for Kaiser Permanente, an organization that invests millions annually in creative, I led campaigns from strategy kickoff to final delivery—crafting digital, interactive, and print experiences that pushed the brand forward and delivered measurable ROI. My work earned multiple Addy Awards and was featured in publications such as The Washington Business Journal, The Baltimore Sun, D.C. United Audi Field, Oriole Park, and Washington Nationals Park. These campaigns not only elevated the brand’s visibility but also demonstrated the power of strategically driven creative to generate impact.

At Voyce—a startup that developed a groundbreaking health monitor for dogs to help veterinarians and pet parents detect and manage health conditions sooner—I led the creative strategy and execution of all brand materials. Partnering with the brand strategist, we built the brand from the ground up, developed guidelines for consistency, and crafted campaigns that sparked conversations in a market that had never seen such disruptive technology. I managed and mentored a talented design team while overseeing collaborations with print vendors, photographers, and creative agencies to deliver cost-effective, high-quality promotions. Our creative work not only positioned Voyce as a leader in the pet health industry but also earned industry recognition, drove early market adoption, and secured features in major publications—helping the company gain traction with both veterinary professionals and pet owners.

Brand Essence

I created the Voyce Brand Essence to portray the tone and personality of the brand. It contains the Voyce vision and mission statement. The images convey the personality and tone of the brand.

Verato, a leader in cloud-based identity matching, approached me to elevate their brand and collateral to reflect their sophistication and advanced technology. I refreshed their visual identity by infusing a bold yet approachable orange into the existing color palette, creating a modern and confident look. The result—a redesigned website and updated collateral—captured Verato’s personality in a clean, sophisticated way and positioned them as a cutting-edge leader in their industry.

Pedro Rubio -DC Council Campaign

Pedro Rubio was one of my favorite clients—he entrusted me with his brand, and together we launched a standout branding campaign that drove strong engagement and impact for his DC campaign. His core values were trust and boldness, which I brought to life through strategic use of color psychology. The challenge was working with a limited budget, but we made every dollar count, creating visuals and messaging that were impactful, memorable, and true to his vision.
